§ 34. Mr. David Watkinsasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government how many applications have been received by the Durham rent officer from the National Coal Board for the issue of certificates of fair rent in place of licensed occupation.
§ Mr. MacColl712 applications have been received, 132 of these are still under consideration, and certificates of fair rent have been issued in respect of the other 580. In 341 of these 580 cases regulated tenancies have been granted and the rent specified in the certificate registered as a fair rent for the dwelling.
