HC Deb 10 July 1968 vol 768 c72W
88. Mr. Luard

asked the President of the Board of Trade how many restrictive agreements have been registered under the Restrictive Practices Act, 1956; how many of these included price-fixing arrangements; how many have been declared by the court as against the public interest; how many agreements which were registered were not finally defended when brought before the court; and how many information agreements he estimates exist which are at present excluded from the terms of the Act.

Mr. Dell

On 31st December, 1967, the figures were 2,605; 1,865; 230 and 195 respectivey. It is not possible to make a useful estimate of the number of information agreements now in existence.
