HC Deb 10 July 1968 vol 768 c67W
66. Sir B. Janner

asked the President of the Board of Trade what steps are being taken by his Department to warn all British companies doing business in France about the need to register their trade marks in that country before they become open to all comers on 1st August.

Mr. Dell

I am grateful to my hon. Friend for drawing attention to the need for the immediate registration of trade marks in France. My Department has already issued warnings to this effect to the main national trade bodies and in all the appropriate official publications. Following a Press notice, wide publicity has also been secured in the national Press.
