§ 84. Sir F. Bennettasked the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Affairs whether he is yet in a position to announce the terms of reference, composition, venue and exact date and estimated duration of the July Gibraltar Constitutional Conference.
§ Mr. George ThomsonWe are planning for constitutional discussions to open in Gibraltar on 16th July under the Chairmanship of my noble Friend the Minister of State for Commonwealth Affairs. The composition and procedure of these talks will be settled with the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of Gibraltar later this week. The discussions will probably last several days but it is impossible to be definite in such matters.
