§ 72. Mr. Willeyasked the Minister of Transport what proposals she has received about the construction of a new road bridge over the River Wear in, or just west of, Sunderland.
§ Mr. CarmichaelA new road bridge over the River Wear at North Hylton is included in the current programme as part of the proposed Sunderland By-Pass, and consultants have been appointed to design the bridge.
