§ Sir J. Gilmourasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will state the amount spent on average by each education authority in Scotland per child on providing school meals; and how many days in the week they supply meat as a main dish.
§ Mr. Ross:The gross costs per meal and the net costs after deducting payments by pupils are given below for 1966–67 Education authorities have been advised to serve meat as the main dish at three or four meals a week and other protein foods on the remaining day or days.
