§ 69. Mr. Hooleyasked the Minister of Transport when she expects to publish the results of studies now in progress on trans-Pennine routes from Yorkshire and Humberside to the Mersey ports.
§ Mr. SwinglerDecisions on future strategy and priorities for the improvement of trans-Pennine communications, including routes from Yorkshire and Humberside to the Mersey ports, must await consideration of the traffic movement study being carried out under the agency of West Riding County Council. I am informed by the Agent authority that they expect to report by the end of the month.
