§ Mrs. Ewingasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will introduce legislation to ensure that the courts' summer vacation in Scotland should be in line with the normal holiday months, namely July and August, for the convenience of litigants, witnesses and court officers.
§ Mr. RossThis is one of the matters referred to in the Report of the Grant Committee on the Sheriff Court which I am now considering in consultation with the bodies principally concerned.
