§ Mr. Frederick LeeThe cost of the Department in 1968–69 is estimated as £1,354,000. This represents a reduction of £102,000 on the original estimate to take account of the transfer of responsibility for prices and incomes policy to the Department of Employment and Productivity. No further reductions in staff or costs are foreseen.
