§ Mr. Hoy:Fresh apples from non-sterling area sources are restricted by quotas. Canadian apples have the opportunity to compete with apples from other countries under the global quota arrangements. Canadan preserved apples, which account for 35 per cent. of production, enjoy unrestricted access.
