Mr. Ted Fletcherasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if, when considering the proposed comprehensive scheme for social insurance, he will take into account the recommendations of the Beveridge Report 1942, Command Paper 6404, that married women, not gainfully employed, should become insured by virtue of their occupation.
