§ Mr. CarmichaelNo. Local offices will be very much less important under the centralised system than local taxation offices are now, and most licence transactions will be most conveniently done by post direct to the Central Office at Swansea. We are satisfied that the needs of Sunderland will be satisfactorily met by providing offices at Newcastle 3W and Durham, both of which are within 13 miles.
