Mr. Russell Johnsonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland when he estimates that MacBrayne's will complete the tests on the proposed ferry vessel to Raasay and so will be able to give details of the design to the Inverness County Council, thus facilitating the construction of the necessary jetties.
§ Mr. RossI am now informed by MacBrayne's that the tests being carried out on a model of the proposed ferry will not affect the basic design. Sufficient details of this have now been supplied to Inverness County Council to enable them to proceed with their plans for the necessary terminals.
