HC Deb 05 December 1968 vol 774 c531W
58 and 59. Mr. Brooks

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science (I) whether he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT the names of those primary schools in the geographical county of Cheshire which are more than sixty-eight years old, the number of children attending each school in the present school year, and the amount of money which has been spent on building extension and improvements at each school in the past four years;

(2) whether he will indicate the proportion of primary school children in each local education authority in the geographical county of Cheshire who were attending schools built in the nineteenth century in 1961–62, 1964–65 and 1967–68. respectively.

Miss Bacon

My Department's records do not contain all this information and I do not think that I should be justified in asking the five local education authorities concerned to undertake the considerable task of providing the figures needed.
