§ Mr. RossThe Schools (Scotland) Code 1956, as amended from 1st April, 1968, restricts unregistered teachers to temporary appointments. Any change in the status of teachers employed by education authorities will be, in the first instance, a matter for authorities when information about registration becomes available to them.
