HC Deb 10 April 1968 vol 762 c257W
Mr. W. H. K. Baker

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what amount, and what proportion of the whole, of the increase of £52½ million in the farm price guarantees, deficiency and subsidy payments will go to Scottish farmers within the next financial year.

Mr. Buchan

The increase of £52½ million relates to a full year. I estimate that the amount going to Scottish farmers will be about £7 million and the proportion about 13 per cent.
