asked the Minister of Power if he will give his estimate of the excess in 1970 of electricity generated in Wales over the Welsh demand.

No reliable estimate can be made; the excess of generation over demand will depend on the balance of a number of factors—in particular the exact timing of commissioning of major stations at present under construction.

I am considering whether suitable arrangements can be made in the next pension regulations.
