68Wassociations and other bodies before setting up the Committee on Public Participation in Planning; and why he has not appointed more representatives of the public or of independent organisations concerned with town planning and fewer representatives of local and central authorities.
§ Mr. MacDermotThe local authority associations were informed of the proposal to set up the Committee and of its terms of reference. Members of the Committee are representative of a wide range of interests, including the Press, broadcasting, civic societies and the general public, as well as central and local government.
