Non-Proliferation Treaty were put forward at the Eighteen Nation Disarmament Conference by the United States, the Soviet Union and Her Majesty's Government on 7th March. These proposals take the form of a draft Security Council resolution, to be supported by individual declarations of intention by the three nuclear powers.
The resolution welcomes the intention expressed by certain States to provide or 69W support immediate assistance, in accordance with the United Nations Charter, to any non-nuclear-weapon State party to the Non-Proliferation Treaty that is a victim of an act or an object of a threat of aggression in which nuclear weapons are used.
