§ 73. Mr. Whitakerasked the Minister of Transport whether she will take steps to require safety standards in British cars at least as high as those now required by the United States Government, details of which have been sent to her.
§ Mr. John MorrisYes. We are pressing ahead with the proposals for progressively raising safety standards and securing greater uniformity on them internationally which were outlined in the recent White Paper "Road Safety—A Fresh Approach".
