§ The Prime MinisterMy right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster has been asked to pay particular attention, as part of his functions as a Minister of the Department of Economic Affairs, to the problems of the Northern Region. He will visit the452W Region frequently to familiarise himself fully with the situation there and report to my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Economic Affairs. These duties will not affect the distribution of responsibility between Departments. The present arrangements for answering Questions on regional issues will therefore remain unaltered.
