§ Mr. FreesonBoth the Ministry and the National Coal Board are aware of the danger of using carbon tetrachloride for the purposes mentioned. The Board has informed us that they propose to prohibit its use except for specialised chemical processes in coal preparation plants, where strict instructions have been issued about the precautions to be taken.
