HC Deb 21 November 1967 vol 754 c297W
Mr. Evelyn King

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government how many applications to build a house in a rural area in Dorset were received during 1966; and how many of these were refused, accepted, and granted on appeal, respectively.

Mr. Skeffington

Information in precisely the form asked for by the hon. Member is not available. In 1966 there were 2,254 applications for new houses in Dorset outside those areas covered by Town Maps. Of these 1,670 were allowed. As to appeals fifty were received for houses in administrative rural districts during 1966 of which four were allowed.
