Friend the Minister of State has discussed the Government's proposals with representatives of the Scottish local authority associations and has told them that it has not yet been decided whether any passenger transport authorities will be established in Scotland. For the rest I would ask the hon. Member to await the White Paper on passenger transport which is to be published shortly.
