asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he will make a statement on British policy towards the recently established Association of South-East Asian Nations.

As my right hon. Friend told the House on 2nd November, we welcome the formation of this Association, which is a concrete manifestation of the desire of the people of South-East Asia to co-operate for their mutual welfare.—[Vol. 753, c. 335.]
