§ 47. Mr. Wallasked the Minister of Transport if she will make a statement on the progress of preparations for the construction of a Humber Bridge.
§ Mr. SwinglerThese preparations are the responsibility of the Humber Bridge Board. Soil tests are at present being carried out and wind tunnel tests are planned to start soon. Further preparations will have to await the Government s decision on the construction of the bridge.
