80. Mr. G. Campbell

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what proposals he has for renegotiating the Nassau agreement.

86. Mr. Marten

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he will make a statement on the present position of the proposals to renegotiate the Nassau Agreement and to create an Atlantic Nuclear Force.

Mr. Mulley

As my right hon. Friend the then Minister of State informed the House on 30th January, it is our intention to renegotiate the Nassau Agreement with the United States Government at the appropriate time.

With regard to the Atlantic Nuclear Force, I have nothing to add to what was said by my right hon. Friend the then Minister of State on 27th February in reply to the hon. Member for Blackpool, South (Mr. Blaker).—[Vol. 740, c. 13;Vol. 742, c. 93.]
