§ Mr. Roy JenkinsI assume that my hon. Friend has principally in mind the restriction on the right of appeal in Section 29(3)(d) of the Criminal Justice Act, 1948. I propose to ask the House to amend the Criminal Justice Bill to prevent a recurrence of the difficulty which arose in a recent case, and I am considering the need to deal with other similar restrictions.
