§ 80. Mr. Berryasked the Minister of Transport when she hopes to resume talks with the Transport and General Workers' Union on the subject of one man buses for London Transport.
§ Mr. SwinglerArrangements for London Transport's one-man operated buses are a matter of management for the Board, subject to operation being authorised by the Traffic Commissioners. About 283W 400 such buses are already in use and further extension will be a matter for discussion between the Board and the Transport and General Workers' Union in the normal way. The Union are also represented on the Department's group which is studying generally the technical and operational problems of extending one-man operation.
