HC Deb 02 March 1967 vol 742 c153W
Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Prime Minister whether he will ask the Services, Press and Broadcasting Committee, when examining his recent reference to them of the issue of D notices, to examine the practices over the last 40 years, with particular reference to the period 1951–64 and to the number of occasions upon which the Governments of that period acted along similar lines to Her Majesty's Government.

The Prime Minister

I would refer my hon. Friend to the Statement I made on 28th February and the Answers I gave to supplementary questions on that day about the scope of Lord Radcliffe's inquiry.—[Vol. 742, c. 274.]
