§ 59. Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department why Scotland Yard detectives visited West 138W Ham College of Technology to interview Mr. Philip Bradbury; what objections were raised, and by whom, to the Students' Rag Magazine; and whether he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Roy JenkinsAs the result of complaint from a member of the public about the Rag Magazine produced jointly by Waltham Forest Technical College and West Ham College of Technology, police officers visited these establishments on 3rd and 17th February respectively and interviewed, among others, Mr. Philip Bradbury, Chairman of the Rag Committee. No copies of the magazine were confiscated. The only copy that the police had was received from the complainant. This has been submitted to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
