§ Mr. Stratton Millsasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs how many men in the South Arabian Army, Air Force and Navy are receiving or will receive technical training as part of Her Majesty's Government's programme; and how many of these will be trained in the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. George BrownThe training programme for the South Arabian Army, Air Force and Navy is drawn up by the Federal Ministry of Defence; Her Majesty's Government help as and when requested. Much of the technical train-148W ing is carried out in South Arabia. However 151 members of the Federal Regular Army are receiving or will receive technical training abroad this year, 26 of them in the United Kingdom. Two members of the South Arabian Air Force and six members of the Navy are now receiving or are about to receive technical training in the United Kingdom.
