asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will cause an inquiry to be made into the killing by British soldiers of 50 Arabs in Aden.

Mr. George Brown

No. As stated in the reply given by my right hon. Friend to the noble Lord the Member for Hertford (Lord Balniel) on 27th February, there is no truth in these allegations by Mr. Benenson.—[Vol. 742, c.1–2.]

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will make a statement on reports he has received about executions of Arabs in Aden by British forces.

There have been no executions in Aden. Allegations by Mr. Benenson of killings of Arabs by British soldiers were refuted by my right hon. Friend in reply to a Question by the noble Lord the Member for Hertford (Lord Balniel) on 27th February.—[Vol. 742, c.1–2.]
