40 and 41. Mr. Bob Brownasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) what evidence he has of increased bottle throwing in public places as a direct result of the introduction of the non-returnable glass containers for soft drinks; and if he will make a statement;
(2) what increase in personal injuries in public places has occurred as a result of the introduction of the non-returnable glass soft drinks bottle; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. TaverneI have no evidence that the introduction of non-returnable bottles for soft drinks has led to increased bottle throwing in public places, or to more personal injuries.
