§ Mr. Milneasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will list in the OFFICIAL REPORT buildings of historical importance receiving grants under the Historic Buildings and Ancient Monuments Act, 1953, their owners, the dates on which the grants were paid and the conditions governing the payments of such grants.
§ Mr. MacCollGrants have been paid in 1,087 cases so far, and the details requested are too voluminous for inclusion in the OFFICIAL REPORT. Particulars of the buildings and the amounts of grant paid are, however, published in the Annual Reports of the Historic Buildings Council for England. It is normally a condition of grant that the house shall be open one day a week between May and September.
