78. Mr. G. Campbell

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs why he asked the British Broadcasting Corporation to postpone a proposed broadcast by Svetlana Stalin.

Mr. William Rodgers

I would refer the hon. Gentleman to my reply to the hon. Member for Bury St. Edmunds (Mr. Eldon Griffiths) on 6th June.—[Vol. 747, c.183.]

Mr. Griffiths

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs which passages in Miss Svetlana Stalin's intended British Broadcasting Corporation broadcast to Russia his Department considered would be prejudicial to his recent efforts in Moscow to bring about an improvement in the international situation.

Mr. Evelyn King

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what representations were made by Her Majesty's Government directly or indirectly to the British Broadcasting Corporation, relating to postponement or cancellation of a broadcast concerning Stalin's daughter; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. William Rodgers

I would refer the hon. Gentleman to my reply to the hon. Member for Bury St. Edmunds (Mr. Eldon Griffiths) on 6th June.—[Vol. 747. c.183.]
