§ Mr. RossThe first advance of the resources element of Rate support grant for 1967–68 is calculated on the rate product for 1966–67. Any change in the product of the Coatbridge burgh rate resulting from the steelworks closures will be taken into account in calculating the second advance to be paid next year, and the greater part of any loss of rates is likely to be made good in this way.
