§ Mr. ReynoldsAbout £¼ million a year from Defence Votes is spent on resettlement training and the running of three Service Resettlement Centres. The Department of Education and Science and the Ministry of Labour also provide funds for resettlement training for Servicemen.
§ 108. Mr. Dalyellasked the Secretary of State for Defence what he is doing to provide long-term training courses in the services, with a view to helping service personnel resettle in civilian jobs, at the end of their service engagement.
§ Mr. ReynoldsAll Servicemen are given resettlement advice and special training where required either at Service Resettlement Establishments, at Government Training Centres, or with industrial firms.
