HC Deb 13 July 1967 vol 750 c138W
Sir Knox Cunningham

asked the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Affairs what is the latest information with regard to the situation in Anguilla; and if he will make a statement.

Mrs. Hart

I have received reports of a referendum by the people of Anguilla about secession. The Commonwealth Mission, to which I referred in my Answer of 27th June, spent a week in St. Kitts, but I do not know, as yet, their findings. —[Vol. 749, c. 246.]
