asked the Minister of Transport what action she proposes to take to implement Report No. 44 of the Road Research Laboratory, A Road Trial with Reflectorised Registration Plates for Motor Vehicles, by M. S. Rutley; and if she will make a statement.

The report is being studied by our Lighting Working Party as part of their work on the use of reflectorised number plates.
