asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what economies have been made in his Department since 20th July, 1966 in expenditure on hospitality and official entertainment.

The amount and cost of necessary official entertainment varies from year to year. Expenditure from the Departmental Hospitality Fund for the period 20th July to 31st Decem- ber, 1966, amounted to 57 per cent. of that during the corresponding period of 1965.
