HC Deb 15 February 1967 vol 741 c97W
57. Mr. Bruce-Gardyne

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will give an undertaking that the Government will not seek to impose a statutory minimum pricing scheme without Treasury support on the white fish industry.

Mr. Hoy

Now that the W.F.A.'s draft scheme has been published, it will be necessary for Ministers to consider it in the light of any unresolved objections. I cannot therefore give any undertaking about the Government's future attitude at this stage.
