asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how many licences for drift-netting for salmon were issued by his Department in the past three years; and how many were issued by river boards in the same period.

Mr. Hoy

In the three years 1964, 1965 and 1966 the number of licences issued by the Ministry was 5, 7 and 7, and by the River Authorities 232, 210 and 211, respectively.
