HC Deb 15 February 1967 vol 741 c105W
78. Mr. Brewis

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what are the terms of reference of the new Co-ordinating Transport Committee for Scotland; and whether they include the co-ordination of bus, railway and steamship time-tables.

Mr. Ross

The terms of reference of the Transport Committee are to promote, under the general direction of the Scottish Economic Planning Council, the co-ordination of transport facilities serving Scottish needs, and to assist the Council in advising on any other transport questions that may engage the Council's attention. It thus covers the co-ordination of timetables.
