§ 73. Mr. William Hamiltonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what initiative he intends to take to ensure that nurses, like other insured workers, are paid suitable overtime rates for working on public holidays, week-ends, and on night duty.
§ Mr. RossSome nurses already receive additional payments for Sunday and night duty; the question of extending these arrangements is a matter for the Nurses and Midwives Whitley Council.
