§ Mr. William Hamiltonasked the President of the Board of Trade if he will ensure that investigations of the professions by the Monopolies Commission includes the nursing profession.
§ Mr. JayIt is for the Commission to decide which professions to investigate. It would be free to consider the extent to which the restrictions referred to it prevail in the nursing profession, except in so far as these are expressly authorised by Statute or Royal Charter. It would not be free to report on restrictions arising in connection with a contract of service.
