HC Deb 15 February 1967 vol 741 cc109-10W
82. Mr. Burden

asked the Secretary of State for Defence how many people injured in the fire in Chatham Dockyard last July and who have suffered permanent injury or scarring have received compensation; and what arrangements are being made to assess the claims of the injured for compensation.

Mr. Foley

The injuries were minor except for one case which I understand is being considered under the Industrial Injuries Act. No claim has so far been made on my Department.
