HC Deb 15 February 1967 vol 741 c115W
86. Mr. Cordle

asked the Minister of Transport what statistical evidence she has that motor vehicle drivers aged 65 years and over have a higher accident rate than those of 25 years and under.

Mr. John Morris

None. The evidence available suggests, on the contrary, that for each mile driven, car drivers aged 65 and over have a lower casualty rate and a lower accident involvement rate than those aged 25 and under.
