§ Mr. John Leeasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will issue a circular to local authorities to encourage planning authorities to adjudicate planning applications currently pending as quickly as possible so as to minimise the number of land transactions commenced before the enactment of the Land Commission Act that will attract the development levy because they remain incomplete on the appointed day.
§ Mr. MacCollNo; but I am sure that local planning authorities will do their best to issue decisions before the Appointed Day in cases where they can properly do so.
