§ Mr. Russell Johnstonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many thalidomide-damaged children in Scotland are in school; and of these how many have gone to normal schools.
§ Mr. RossAt the beginning of the school session 1965–66 45 children with limb deficiencies thought to have been associated with the use of thalidomide were attending school in Scotland; of these, 22 were in ordinary schools. I am obtaining figures for the 1966–67 session and shall send them to the hon. Member when they are available.
